Conveniently situated in a peaceful suburb in Glendale is a modest, safe and secured warehouse that can contain 500 regular balikbayan boxes. It is equipped with devices that can facilitate easy and safe transfer of the boxes from the sender to the port. This is efficiently and effectively managed by the husband and wife tandem of Danny and Cecille Gipulan with the help of their children. Danny is an expert in the tgrade as he has a numerous years of hard work in the same company before he went solo. Cecille on the other hand, is the capable and supportive wife who takes any role in the operation whenever needed and wherever it is needed. They are supported by their children and a group of roving agents dedicated to promoting the good name of UCS and portraying to life the mission-vision the company stands for.
The Manila Office is the vanguard of the organization. It is always on the lookout for the incoming goods. The long wait for the shipper is over once the commodities has been released from the inspection in the Bureau of Customs. The hub is the Manila Office for the satisfaction and dissatisfaction of clients is in their hands. This is ably managed by Napoleon Carbonell, an E-Commerce graduate with accounting major on his portfolio and like Danny, has numerous years of experience in the forwarding industry. He is supported by efficient office staffs and a list of dedicated drivers and porters who wouldn’t mind the time, weather and most specifically the risk in finding the location just so they can deliver the goods to every consignee on time. Unifreight Cargo Systems Inc. (UCS) had its humble beginning on February 2006 when a group of experts in the forwarding industry sat together and coined an idea that would start with the “balikbayan” boxes from America and delivered to consignees in the Philippines. The UCS Office in Glendale, California came to life under the management of husband and wife, Danny and Cecille Gipulan. The Manila office, meanwhile, is now under the management of a colleague, Napoleon Carbonell. With the help of agents from all over US, the company has now a fair share of the market. This is complemented by the efficient handling of the delivery to the end-user by the Manila office. This good flow of service from the shipper to the consignee is a commitment every employee of the company has pledged.
